Ok I called Dublin and they have not yet received the packet-ok no problem. I called the NVC to make sure it was sent. He told me that it does not go DHL but through the regular mail and can take 4-6 weeks.............is that correct? I swore they were shipped dhl.

Are some sent dhl and others reg mail?? Is it Friday yet?? I am burnt out already

Thanks guys ;)

Just because they say they haven't got it yet doesn't mean it's not there, some places take a bit to enter it into their systems.

Try to be patient (I'm sure you're tired of hearing that ;) )

I bet this is yours, from the DHL website

I think it's possible that they send regular mail too, not certain. I called today about my petition, and the NVC told me that case # assigned on 3/15/06 and forwarded to the HCMC on 3/17/06. I just emailed the HCMC to see whether or not they recieve the package. I tried to track DHL ref I-730 date between 3/16/06 and today. I don't see any packages going to HCMC. I'll keep everyone posted when I get the respond from the HCMC consulate.

Just hang in there, I know it's tough.

Oops, those would be 2 seperate places!

Try entering expedite NIV section or expedite IV section in the reference field on dhl.com, tracking (from the drop down at the top)

There was one to Dublin on the 10th & the 14th, search with expedite IV section

Once a case completes they send out a cable to the consulate/embassy with the information. Then the hard file is put in a courrier pouch and is sent by one of many carriers. Once the hard copy arrives they have to match it to the cabled notice in the system. It will not show at the embassy or consulate until both cases are matched into the system. Sometimes this takes weeks. Good luck and just try and email the embassy again in few days.

HI

I know my case took a week to reach London then it took them another week to send out the pk3. Hopefully Ireland will have a similar waiting time.It takes 6-8 weeks for the case to appear on the embassy's system. Pity they don't issue receipt notices or acknowledge receipt of anything we send them LOL

Good Luck

Yes, I see a couple cases going to Ho Chi Minh City, one on the 3/16/06 and the other on 3/21/06 by tracking expedite IV section. I assume the one on 3/21/06 is probably mine.
