Previous Address Listed on W2

Hi,

 

I am putting my i751 package together and I forgot to update my employer with my new address so my old one is shown on my W2.  Where do I put a note on this, do I include this on the cover letter where the W2 is listed?

My best guess is that this is minor as it sounds like a recent move. The important thing is that USCIS has your correct address. Perhaps you could take your W2 form to your supervisor and get a short signed note acknowledging the address change if you are concerned about it. Good luck.
