Hi,

I'm a USC completing an I-130 / I-485 petition for my wife and two kids who are here on H1 and H4s respectively and need some help with completing the I-864s.

Since I have to file 3 individual I-30 petitions, the instructions state that three individual I-864s will also have to be filed. If this is correct I am assuming that each I-864 should show one family member as “Principal Immigrant†under Part 2 of the Application and no one else should be listed under Part 3 Question 9.

Under this format how will the household size be determined since I will be listed as a sponsoring household member in each of three I-864s taking the total household size to six instead of four. Or am I getting this all wrong? Could someone please help me out on this and advise where I need to list each family member in each I-864 for an AOS case? I saw the sample I-864 on Visajourney.com but this provides the affidavit for one beneficiary only.

Many thanks.
