Thanks Sarah, we're keeping our fingers crossed that everything in packet3 and packet4 will be available when really really needed. Last Friday she made her medical appointment for tomorrow morning based on a call from the Kyiv embassy with her NVC number.

This gave me some confidence to move forward without documents in hand. So last night I called the interview scheduling service for Kiev and told them the NVC number. I assured the interview scheduler our checklist was complete. He made the appointment for July 3!

fwaguy has been absent for a couple weeks, anybody seen him?

George

I called this morning after I sent them an email requesting status, let them know we have everything we need (which we do) they scheduled her for a July 16th interview, wonder why such a disparity between July 3 and July 16?

Did not realize you had to call the Medical place for a reservation, will have Anna do that in the morning.

Did the same stuff happen to you, where they did not send you a packet 3 yet? However you just called and told them you had everything? Thats what I did.

T.

I agree it's peculiar three days between scheduling calls caused almost two weeks between the interviews. Yeah, no packet three here either. We haven't received anything in writing from USCIS or NVC since NOA1 the first week of February. The 25th "Ski" got an email from the embassy with her KEV number.

She immediately called the approved medical center and set up the appointment. She had the appointment today, said it was long but effortless. They took x-rays, blood, and reviewed her records. The center gave her the results the end of the day.

I got our KEV number just by chance by calling NVC the 25th. They also informed me our 129f was approved the 10th! LOL!

I told the interview scheduler at 888-889-3780 we have completed everything on the KEV-1 check list. He said good, and offered to set up an appointment. I said the earliest possible, please. It's set for the third of July!

I am assuming that she is from Kiev so she was able to get that medical done already?

Thanks for the info as well.

good luck to your interview ! share with us your good news !

I just mailed back packet 3 and am tidying up all the doc for my interview ! hope can schedule an interview in July !

btw ... I am a bit worried about the I-134, we provide a lot of "income" and "asset" sources ... but dont know if we should gather all the supporting doc for all the items ... eg his real estate and stocks and investment etc etc !!

Do you think we should just simply include the annual income and savings in bank ? (my fiance's annual income is far more than the 125% poverty line)

Yes, whatever you write on the affidavit needs to be supported with the respective documents. If is gonna give you a hard time to get the real state, stocks, investment supporting documents then dnt write them down on the affidavit. If he is above the 125% you guys are OK, just dnt forget the tax transcripts, letter from employer and if its possible some of his pay stubs (i think embassays dnt ask for the pay stubs but i think those are some extra good points  ). Good luck, and dnt worry you guys will be togheter soon and for good!!

good luck to your interview ! share with us your good news !

I got back from the consulate, with no visa. Here is the entire story:

First they asked for my birth certificate, police records, affidavit, etc; then they took my finger prints, they asked me a couple of questions (how did you meet him, what are you planning to do when you get to the states). I signed the ds-156k, waited for an other hour, finally they called me and said: your visa cant be issued today, we are keeping your passport and we will call you to tell you when you can pick it up.

I am confused about if we got approved or not, from my previous experience on visas that you get stamped on your passport (h2b, j1, f1, q1) You always get a picture taken and in this case they didnt do it!! So I dnt know what is going on, I hope everything is fine and there was just a problem with the system. what do you think guys?

good luck to your interview ! share with us your good news !

So I dnt know what is going on, I hope everything is fine and there was just a problem with the system. what do you think guys?

did they tell you if you were approved ?

I know that for the case of HK, the visa will be not issued on the same day even if you get approved. The passport (with visa on it) will be delivered to the beneficiary by registered mail. However, the person would definitely tell if you are approved or not. (In fact, I applied for Student Visa (F-1) before and I remembered that the visa was not issued on the same day for sure)

Besides, I dont think they will take picture for you as they will use the passport photo you provided to the Consulate. (as my B1/B2 and F-1 visas used the photos that I provided to the Consulate)

I think you get approved but just have to wait for the processing of the visa. Can you call the Consulate and confirm with them ?

my best wishes to you ! hope everything will be fine !
