AOS Pending - Advance Parole Q.

Hey everyone,

So I've read a few conflicting topics about this so wanted to get up to date advice.

I have my Advance Parole now so I'm planning a trip to see my family in UK. Obviously came over here in May with my K1 visa, and now not eligible to use ESTA so what do I fill in on the Advance Passenger Information as it asks the following:

Do you have:

- US Green Card

- US Valid Visa

- or none of these.

I selected none of these as I don't but worried about the journey back to the US. I'll be taking my AP (when it comes and a copy of the NOA2), a copy of my AOS NOA1 and a copy of my apartment lease, and car registration just in case. Is there anything else that might be useful?

Thanks!

AP should be all you need. Our card says Advance parole on the front of the card

You don't need apartment lease or car registration.  You need a valid entry document......that is your AP card and passport.

Thanks, I understand that but that's not an option when filling out the Airline API info. I've put none of these and hope they understand.

That's your airline asking and not immigration. They put the common things on their website and not every nuance of a K1 with pending AOS. Call you airlines and speak to them if you feel uneasy. When it comes time to check-in for the return flight, show your card at the airline counter. Ask for a supervisor if the counter clerk is unfamiliar with Advance Parole.
