Rescheduling embassy interview for K1.

Looks like I may have to do this as I appear to have been mistaken in regards to particular documents. It's this coming Tuesday and I'm pretty certain I won't have the time.

 

Daft question but rescheduling doesn't entail some kind of penalty or anything does it? Apart from the obvious one of delaying my visa and move to the US. I just need more time to get stuff together and don't want to risk turning up without stuff and being denied. I assume my medical results etc will just be kept there/on file until I turn up for my interview? 

 

It's been a hectic day as you can probably tell.

U can reschedule if u like. Plenty of days available when I lasted looked.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date. 

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

It was my understanding, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, that if you are missing something they pend/AP you until you turn in the missing documents not just flat out deny you for it. 

 

How easy is it to reschedule?
