If i have a household memeber 864A filed out and I'm also using a joint sponsor. on the first page does the joint spinosr count as the only sponsor or the second of two sponsor or first

Are you referring to an I-864A for a household member of the petitioner or the joint sponsor?

If petitioner, those 2 groups cannot combine incomes, so it doesn't make your case any stronger by having both.

 

The I-864 joint sponsor would be the only joint sponsor. An I-864A household member is not a joint sponsor.

yes i am referring to that. The joint sponsor has above the amount however i want to use the contract between me and the household member and also use a joint sponsor. do you think the joint sponsor should then say i am the only joint sponsor? The household member has made enough this year but did not last year.

There is no benefit to using a household member contract with you and a joint sponsor. Either you + the household member qualify OR the joint sponsor qualifies. My suggestion is not to complicate things.

Yes, the joint sponsor would mark that they are the only joint sponsor.
