Successfully collected my fiancée Ginnie's passport and package from the Consulate this morning. My daughter arrived there shortly after 10am, and was out with the package  in ~20 minutes.

My daughter and Ginnie are now driving from Montreal and Toronto respectively to Kingston, where they'll meet and pass the package along, so Ginnie can catch her flight to California tomorrow.

Finally an end to this ridiculous and contemptible visa process.

Not really an end is it? To the visa process sure but you still have AOS and then ROC.  Weeeee! The fun is just starting!  I hope POE goes easily.

So I read somewhere that DHL is handling the courier drop-offs, has that changed in light of the mail strike? Is there anything on the consulate page about that?

I'm not sure if this answers your question... but I paid for courier drop off at my home address and the Consulate is holding my documents till the strike is over.

I am on my way to pick up my documents for Tuesday. So they better still have them lol. No amount of calling or emailing has been any help what so ever.

That’s really helpful to know. We paid for courier drop off (not to my home, but one of their specified locations).

I hope they have them for you to pick up! This whole thing seems like such a mess 😕

My daughter is a IR2, her interview was the 16 of Oct and we still have nothing!!  No emails, no anything.  We've already flown over to Montreal twice from British Columbia as they scheduled our interviews a month apart (mine was the IR1)  and now what??  I may have to go back again to pick hers up?  I've tried emailing but am getting no response.  Anyone have a phone number for Montreal office that actually allows you to speak to a human?

For those of you have picked up your passport in Montreal already, where did you find the invoice number to pay your final fee before crossing the border? I have a friend picking up my passport and couriering it to me, I want to be able to tell her where to find the Invoice # so I can pay it as soon as possible.
