Mistake in DS-160 - What steps should I take?

Hi All,

I'm freaking out about this and need some advice:

I've filled in the DS-160 form and signed and submitted it, scheduled a VAC/OFC appointment in Mumbai for Nov 11th and Consulter Interview on Nov 30.

However, I just realised that in the "City" field of my "Fiance's Address" & "Address I intend to stay at in U.S." in the DS-160 Form I entered "NY" instead of "Flushing". The city is Flushing and the State is New York.

What should I do? Should I let it be? Should I submit a new DS-160 and update in my USTravelDocs profile? What is the best solution here?

Thank you for all the help in advance!

Best,

Deepak

Flushing, Queens? That counts as NY. No need to worry or change anything,

Yes, Flushing, Queens. So technically it should be that but instead I wrote NY in City and also in State, no need to edit? we should be fine?

Queens is one of the 5 boroughs of New York City, you’re totally fine. Don’t worry about it.  You can clarify at interview if you want.

Thank you for your quick responses! :) My fiancee is insisting we get this fixed as she is not sure about this, and thinks could cause some problems in future.

Is there a way to fix this? Like refilling the entire form again and submitting it and updating the confirmation number in the US Travel Docs profile? Or any other way? I just want her to feel at rest :)

Honestly, just update it at the interview. They’re not sending you anything at the address (when you adjust status make sure your green card address is perfect) and it’s not misleading.
