Yes I made over the limit. It’s just in 2018 due to traveling so much for visits. It’s just hard to get a co signer.

Great, your tax transcripts for the last three years will be very helpful.

Transcripts and w2 right? And letter from my employer.  I’m wondering about household size. My son lives with his father for the past 7 years. He has custody and claims our son on his taxes. Should my son be counted in the household size?

It is recommended to have three years of transcripts and W-2s. Additionally, a letter from your employer or the three most recent paystubs. As far as that question, I truthfully have no idea. Good luck.

It is not required, only most recent year. It is just very helpful to prove your case when you're near the limit.

True! Thank you for that. I do

meet all The requirements besides the Taxes. That is were I went very wrong. To

make it any worse instead of my tax preparer filing me a married filing separately,

she marked single head of house hold. Did I notice? Never!!! yet I still signed at this point I mean what can I dispute?! I boxed my self in for being ignorant. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I did look

into amending my Taxes but I would owe IRS over 30k... That money is long gone by now 🥺 According to my attorney he says in the list says current year, so that is what will provide if they do ask more then I will be obligated to amend my taxes for the past years in order for my husband to get approved. All we can do is hope they overlook that 😬 since we have everything else tehy require.

Our petition is at the Nebraska center. Any hopes for us getting a NOA2 in the next 3-4ish months? I'm so impatient!

NSC (Nebraska) is still working on May filers so it looks to me like 4-5 months to go.. Back in December they were working on March - April, so they at least do not seem to be getting further behind. I am hoping for my wife to have her green card by November for the US holiday season.  Suppose I'll start working on my 2018 taxes in case those are asked for.

why is texas going backwards sometimes? 😢

wasn't it at july 20th a couple of days ago, and this morning they are at july 15th?

Maybe the update is based on the last petition worked on or approved for any specific time period, like the day. So later filings may have been completed earlier in the day.... Just a guess, but some things like updates may be done manually like someone going by a pile and looking at the filing that's on top of the pile...

Nope. I haven’t received any notices and Texas service center is only now approving June/July. I don’t even know if it will just be a waist of time calling them to find out.

Hi. My husband is in Turkey, he has permanent residency there but he will be traveling soon to his country within the next few weeks and won’t return back to Turkey until maybe September. He is getting his police certificate from Turkey this week before traveling.  He states that the police certificate will only be good for 6 months. He also has to get police certificate from his other country. Based on being an October filer with Texas service center, do you think if he gets police certificate from now that it should be valid by next 6 months when we get to NVC stage??? I’ve read that it takes 4 days eels to get to NVC and 7-8 weeks after.
