I’m guessing I’m the first October filer that got approved ☺️. I didn’t submit the document for getting email updates but for some reason while talking on the phone with my husband I checked my account on myuscis.gov (not the other one that you can check your case status without logging in) and it said my case was approved on February 12th! Best Valentine’s Day gift ever! My PD was October 12 at the Potomac service center. Didn’t receive the noa2 letter yet but should be coming soon. Soon everyone else will be getting approved. Good luck everyone.

Wow congratulations 🎊. Potomac is moving right along. My case is in Texas. Hope to hear something soon. We are getting close now. You should Get prepared to upload the upcoming documents soon. Keep us posted.

BIg Congratulations!!! Be sure to keep us informed how things go from here! That must be record time!! What is the abbreviation for the Potomac Center? My petition is at the Nebraska center, NSC.

Thank you! I actually just checked my mailbox today and saw a letter from USCIS regarding the NOA2. I think it is record time without having my case expedited. Very hopeful for the rest of the process. For some reason Potomac SC doesn’t have an abbreviation on the processing time table. But other VJ members who’s application was sent there are updating their timelines frequently so I was confident that I would be getting a NOA2 soon.

Yes Potomac is processing very fast. I’m Texas service center. I was excited when I saw October notification. Hopefully it will move soon for the rest of us. Congrats and please keep us updated on the next steps. Soo many of us waiting.

Thank you. And yes they are moving very fast. It took exactly 123 days (4 months exact from my PD) From what I read Potomac SC only works on I-130 petitioning for spouse, parents of USC and children under 21 of USC. So that’s why I assume they can work on cases faster than the other service center. But I could be wrong. Now the next wait is getting the darn case number to start my NVC online process. Now I’m hopeful that maybe when I go visit hubby during the summer I can bring him back with me. That would be the greatest. The faster I work on it here the faster the embassy gets the application and paperwork. Definitely will keep updating and good luck to all.

Yes I’m thinking like 2 more months. For me anyway, I’m in Texas. Counting down.

I just did my taxes to get it out the way. Every other year I’m a late filer. My situation is, last year I’ve traveled a lot to see my husband, which made me miss income. My AGI for 2018 is $34,000 range and the income limit for me is $32,000 for 4 people. I hope they won’t say I need a co sponsor since I’m so close to the limit requirements.

I would think, so long as you meet the requirements, they shouldn't ask for a co-sponsor. If they do, what's the point of having a cut-off point at all?

It might be a good idea to have one in mind, just in case. It's best to be safe and prepared than have to figure it out later.

Have you made over the limit for the last three years? If so, you have nothing to worry about.

Yes I made over the limit. It’s just in 2018 due to traveling so much for visits. It’s just hard to get a co signer.
