Update on our case. Checked my email today and seen that I received the NVC Welcome Letter. 

 

October 4, 2018  Sent I-130 Package.
October 9, 2018 Priority Date Form I-797 receipt of notice Texas service center
May 20, 2019 I-130 Approved
June 4, 2019, we sent your case to the Department of State for visa processing.
June 28,2019 NVC Welcome Letter

I called NVC yesterday and they gave the case and invoice number I didn’t received a letter or email so I decided to call them after 6 weeks of approval.

Now, case tracker apps shows they sent for RFE. Not sure what they are looking for. Did anyone go through the same situation. Any idea how long would take this process?

Normally RFE slows down the process for a month - provided USCIS accepts your response quickly, you'll hear back from them in a week or two.

Our I-130 got approved! Received NOA2 in the mail today.

Texas Service Centre
NOA1 received on October 15, 2018
NOA2 received on July 5, 2019

No RFEs.

Please are there a lot of October filers out there??  274 days and still nothing. I’m really getting worried. I’m the us citizen. My husband is Nigerian passport with Turkish permanent resident. Could this be a hold up. We are now 9 months waiting on noa2 TSC.

Hey Gojo , Do you have account with uscis ???If not then made an account if yours case already approved .Bcz this happens to me, my case has not been updated till now , even its approved on 3rd july 2019, Im a dec filer.
