The real question is why did it jump up to August, skipping June and July. Perhaps the data base is updated with the latest approval and for some, their case may be expedited. I never saw Nebraska working on August. Last time or two I checked it was working on May, 2018 petitions. I receive an email regularly from VJ showing my expected approval date, which last said October 13. It keeps getting bumped up. I think the August date was either an error or a fluke.

I just checked Nebraska right now it was August 29, how is it that you can see May?

That normally takes a couple days, but I haven't checked.

I see.  Status change to "issued" is the ONLY real indication of approval....even if the Consulate Officer says "approved"....good luck.

Yeah, I know. It's not my first rodeo...thanks.

 

There is good chance if the CO says its approved that it will be issued, I am truly not worried about it one bit.

I have seen several cases lately which resulted in some very disappointed people after the CO stated "approved".....first rodeo or not.....

The interview was actually really quick. The CO didn't want to speak to me (prtitioner), entire time time talked to my wife. Asked about our relationship..how we met, how long we have been together, any kids. Also, if she has ever been in the U.S. illegally, employment information for both, why we want to go to the U.S.

October 9 pd I’m Texas service center and still waiting. Is anyone here still waiting from around or before this time??  I’m seeing so many approvals for November already. This is getting so frustrating. I will call today.
