Congratulations Prena and Layth!!!

I am posting this at Prena's request. The usually calm and so supportive lady is way to excited to do so herself! Layth's AP is complete, he dropped his passport with Aramex today, he will have the passport and visa by Sunday, and he is expecting to be here with Prena by the following Thursday, InshaAllah.

thanks everyone!

I can't believe it. Why, because yesterday I called DOS and they said checks were complete. So I helped myself to an email letting the Amman Consulate know that I know it's complete and if he could bring his passport today. I never got a reply and then when I called just to confirm with DOS, this woman, who sounded HIGH, told me is was still pending. HUH? Then a couple hours later my fiance got to a phone to tell me the good news! Praise God for this blessing, truly a blessing. I'll really be celebrating on Sunday when the visa is safe and sound in his hands!!!

Woo-hoo!!! This is even sooner than expected! (you know what I want to see LOLOL). Ammar called me and said that he is putting off buying a ticket until the beginning of this next week because they told him today he will have a department meeting on monday or tuesday about accepting his resignation or not. if they do, they will release him early, May 31 or June 1!!! So he'll get to come almost 10 days sooner than our original plan!

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.
