Hi - just wondering if anyone has been able to get a very minor / inmaterial correction on their Ds-160 at the K1 interview from their CO?

In my education section for one school instead of saying I completed Grade 9 that year , it says Grade 8.

My attorney did assure me that it was not material and as it was a typo - his advice was to get it corrected at the interview rather than submit a new Ds-160.

That's right. If it's not a big mistake, you shouldn't correct it by a new DS160 bcuz you'll give the CO more trouble(the CO will need to check both of your old snd new DS160 and still needs to ask you what you corrected on the new DS160.) So just tell the CO to make it right.
