DS230

Hi all I have a question regarding question 21a (Person(s) named in 14 and 19 who will accompany you to the United States now). AND 21b (Person(s) named in 14 and 19 who will follow you to the United States at a later date.

Just to make sure! My wife the beneficiary she the one who has to file the part 1 and 2 right? Means in question 14 the spouse will be me. I live in the united state why the question 21a or 21b mentioned (Person(s) named in 14 and 19 who will accompany you to the United States now.)?

What I am supposed to write, my name?

Accompanying has to do with other Immigrants, not US citizens. You don't put your name there because you are not immigrating with her.

This is a standard form used by all immigrants coming to the U.S., not just those coming based on marriage to a USC. When I filled it out, I was married too and I put my name in question 14 and "none" in question 21. My spouse immigrated alone. YuandDan is correct. As the USC, you are not immigrating with your spouse.

Yes, I agree with Elena and YuandDan. You simple write "none," as the USC is not immigrating with the visa applicant/beneficiary.
