I’m july 3, VSC filer . Status said “ local office” but it’s still in VSC. I wish everyone here who is waiting , we will get good news every morning when we get up ... let me know if you hear something .

I am also a July 3rd 2017 VSC. My case was transferred to local office on July 2018. No updates since then. I did file an online inquiry last week, haven’t heard a response from that as well.

Hi Pupa! I did submitted online same as you. You know what? I don’t get a respond by mail like yours. A respond by email on the next day after I sent that

“my case is pending adjudication. Tell me waiting more”. I don’t know that is it automatically a reply by computer or not . But I feel disappointed.

I’m July 3 VSC filer , not lucky 🥺 . I’m wondering we don’t have kids, if that makes them pending ? We are married very happy, joint tax , living same place for 4 years.

Let me know if you get it in mail. Thanks in advance .

Hi Donut,

I received a response in the mail today which reads “Your case is currrntly under officer review. You should receive a decision or notice of action within next 60 days.” That’s it. So nothing very specific... But looks like I will hear in 2019, not earlier.

Hello guys,

I am not a VSC filer, I am a Jul 05 CSC filer, but you are not alone. On September 2018 my case was transferred to Nebraska, it seems the timeline is longer there, according to the USCIS site, we can only submit an inquiry for late processing if our case is dated before April, 2017... 😢

Pupa, we are in the same situation, happy married, filing jointly, living together for 4 years, no kids either...

Interesting. I probably will get something like this too. Well all we can do is wait. I’m not pressed or nervous but since it’s 1,5 year now, I will be applying for citizenship in January. I hoped I hear before the holidays, but it doesn’t seem like a reality.

Hello Pupa,

I am a Jul 05 CSS, or I was, my case was transfered to NSC on Sep 2018. I am planning to do the same, applying on January, NSC is rewieving April, 2017. I am not stressed anymore, just waiting and hoping for news.

Thank you Pupa for letting me know. How long did you get in the mail after you inquired ? 7 days? I am still waiting for a mail like yours.
