Hey Everyone! I am glad to see the momentum on I-751 applications and keeping the fingers crossed for the ones who are still waiting.

I am in series WAC17277001.... with a receipt date of 07/03/2017 and still waiting on some action. I recently got the I-797 original notice for the additional 6 months extension. This letter was dated 10/20. Isn't that strange? I was hoping for an approval and all I am getting is an extension now. BTW I already got an extension letter in September but it wasn't the original. (USCIS described it as a courtesy copy)

I just received this in USCIS tracker

On October 24, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number EAC1729xxx, at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

The DHS site still has old status from February. Anyone knows what this means?

In my experience, this means you'll get a transfer notification tomorrow. I could be wrong. That's what happened to me and to about 200 cases in my day and then the next day we all got a status saying our case was transferred. Let me know what you get

Hello,

I send the package on July 19-2017 and my number WAC17291XXXXX today I went to SD field Office with an Info-pass appointment to ask them about my pending I-751. The agent said they are processing January 2017 until now and the time I should be waiting is around 6 more months. I also asked him about filling for citizenship and the response was:

You can have 3 escenarios:

1.- Your case is in SD and if your file for citizeship we will send your case to Chicago, then they will ask for your permanent residence and you did not receive it because you just have one folder which is in Chicago and we stop working on it, and they are going to denied you case sending back your papers to SD asking for a revision of your I-751. You are going to have a big delay.

2.- You file for citizenship and your condition removal are not done but the officer decide if you are with your wife on your side Enterview you for both at the same moment. Giving you both things same time.

3.- You file for citizenship and the rules change between the waiting time having more delay.

There is no warranty filling early they said.

The agent said I would wait for full removing conditions first to be sure is everything in on time.

This was my experience today during my Info-pass.

I just saw in the USCIS app tracker that my N400 interview was scheduled. In my online account there are no changes yet. I’m CSC with pending I-751 (July 2017 - WAC1730...). I applied online last July 2018 for N400. Is this even possible? I need to start studying ASAP. Should I expect joint I-751 and N400 interview?

Was your case trasnferred to NSC or TSC ? If not, your approval should be right around the corner

Hey Guys: A quick observation: I checked other receipt numbers in my series and it seems most of the folks are approved and Green Card has been sent out.

I am wondering if delay in my ROC is due to the filing of the N-400 application? I am in Houston and the processing time here for N400 is around 23 months. Does that mean I need to wait until 2020 to get adjudicated on both I751 and N400 together?

I wish I would have waited to get my ROC green card in hand first.

Here is a snapshot of my timeline:

I-751 Receipt: July 3 2017

N400 Filing Receipt: July 6 2018

Still no word on any of these from USCIS.

Not necessarily. My N400 processing time in San Diego is 12-20 months. I applied July 2018, I still have I-751 pending (July 2017). However, my N400 interview was just schedule for December 2018.

To be honest USCIS is very unpredictable in theory my N400 interview should be 2019-2020. But I’m peasantry surprise.

I’ll say prepare for the worse (big delay) but hope for the best (fast processing)

Thanks for sharing your details! I guess you are right, maybe Houston will show some faster processing time as well or it might actually take the full 20+ months.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Unfortunately your I-751 will be adjudicated alongside your N-400 now since you submitted your citizenship application in N-400.
