I think it depends on what state you are in. I just renewed my drivers license in August and they made it expire in the same day as my i551 stamp, which is Nov 2019

Green card was delivered today and it looks great - the right dates, nothing misspelled.  YEAH!!!!!

 

Just to let others know, no signature was required.  It was sent via priority mail and was received only 6 days after approval. 

As for the expiration date, the 10 years begins with the date of the approval of the removal of conditions.  (not some earlier date - like the date of the expiration of the 2 year card).  In other words, we have 10 years before we have to jump through bureaucratic hoops again. 

Also we received - today as well - the 18 month extension letter on official letterhead and this replaces the unofficial extension that was sent in August.

Also we received an official letter telling us that we were approved.  All of this came on the same day!! hahaha!!

 

We are all very fortunate to have VisaJourney to help guide us through this whole process and to exchange information with one another.   I cannot think of another website that has been so helpful to us in our lives as this website.  It deserves some sort of award!

Got my official extension letter today as well. I’m glad I didn’t waste my time going into their office and getting a stamp 🤷‍♀️

Got news from tracking app the USPS has mail that contain my new GC.  My guess it arrives tomorrow.  I cannot believe how fast mail travels in the USA.  In Canada, we pay through the nose for postage and it takes forever for mail to arrive.  

Yes once they approved your case the processing will be very fast if the person that processed your application is detailed oriented, because some IO were not. LOL!

again, docs like this should not be posted online with the barcode, since the barcode contains your confidential information that can easily scan anywhere and steal online. Lets be careful enough Folks!

How many July 2017 ( No N-400 filed) filers do we have pending approval ? It seems like the majority of the applicants have  been approved . Can we have a quick roll call ?
