I think that quite a few of our esteemed senators would give you the Willie's if missing votes is your criteria for generating fear

I exercise my right to vote every time there's an election if I disagree with their platform or record. :)

just giving my two cents since I live in TX and have voted. No hard feelings anywhere!

Oddly enough Bernie Sanders and Obummer running for office while serving in the senate was cool. Oh! The hypocrisy of the MDL/MOB

It is. I feel that if they're elected to represent us, they should represent us and not the special interest lobby groups. With that being said I think.. just vote!

What is sad is they are elected to represent a state, all the people of that state, and yet we see rampant partisan posturing in the Senate.  The 17th Amendment was just wrong.

I saw that a lot more when I lived in Ohio. The people who get elected are so out of touch with the majority of the state that they don't even know who they represent. It's a broken system.

When Mrs. T-B. was studying for the citizenship test*, the question came up about whom the two Senators of each state represent.  She considered this and said, "Every other person!"

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."
