Hello everyone,

So it is getting close to our estimated time, end of November, when we will hear back. Just wondering when I should get started on getting all of the documents ready. Should I start now? After I hear something? Also will the beneficiary need to provide anything as well? Thank you.

probably too soon to complete i 134. but (if you dont already have them) gather your tax transcripts for the past 3 years and start saving your pay stubs. Once you have an interview date, get a letter from your employer. thats really all thats needed on our (petitioner) end.

Gather any new relationship evidence youve gotten since filing. New passport stamps, boarding passes, photos, etc.

your fiance will want to get their police reports and find out where the medical will be (can't schedule the appointment for that until later). Also after NOA2 each of you should write a new intent to marry letter.

Fiance should also look into finalizing their plans for what they will be moving and what they will be getting rid of (donate, sell, etc).

If you haven't already, look into the marriage license requirements in your state to see what documents you will need and if there is a waiting period or any medical tests required (I think this is becoming more rare but some states require blood tests). dont make any wedding plans but know what will be needed to be done to get the license.

I'm in the same boat as you are. VJ estimated my NOA2 should be around Thanksgiving. YAY, it's only about a month away!!! I'm currently saving all of my paystubs, I will be printing off my tax transcripts (3 years) this coming week off of the IRS website and I've been bugging HR about getting the employer letter. I have printed off the I-134 form and practiced on filling it out, but I did notice that the form expires on 11/30/2018. Right when I'm estimated to get my NOA2. I'm praying I can still use the current version of the I-134 because I'm flying to Thailand and going to spend three weeks with my fiancé in December. I want to give her my I-134 paperwork when I'm there

Better the beneficiary can get an X- ray now. Most of ppl don't think they'll have any problem with their health but it does affect the last step of interview if the X-ray showing any spot on it

The attorney rekons our NOA2 should show up any day now.......c'mon....c'mon already lol
We've set a 'provisional' date(May 1st) & have a general outline for our day-going with elopement in the park we got engaged in(see photo).
I'm only taking clothes, jewelry & sentimental items, nothing else is going with me.
I have my police report in hand, & we're poised to get started on I-134 & appointments for medical & embassy.

'MON THE NOA2!!!
