affidavit of support original signature page

Hello,

 

So I've read that when submiting an aos through the nvc they no longer require the original signature page, or wet ink on the signature page for a joint sponsor. I can not find any specific information about this for DCF, since we will be bringing the paperwork in to our interview and not going through the nvc. anyone been dcf in manila lately and can give me first hand experience with this? My dad has filled out the form to be our joint sponsor, but since my husbands income qualifies as continuing from the same source and meets the income requirements i dont plan on using it unless they ask for a joint. Kind of a back up just in case. I just need to know if my dad needs to try to send me the original or if the copy he emailed me will work. TYIA

 

EDIT: its a copy of his actual signature not a digital signature. he signed it, scanned it and emailed it to me.

in theory the emailed copy should be fine. but some consulates haven't seemed to get that memo. Have the original just in case.
