Hello,

I have seen many references to DHL, one was that a receipt is needed prior to the interview, another where it mentions that the approved visa can be picked up from the DHL office. She will be interviewing in Moscow.

Does my fiance need to pick a receipt of any type or pay prior to the interview? And if and when approved is it advisable to pick the visa from the office? What is the benefit of doing this?

well to answer you the best i can, as we interviewed in lima peru, not the same place as moscow, yes the same language, and same country, just diff. embassy. she had to call the embassy after she got the packet 3 and pay at banco continental $100 to have a receipt so she could present at the interview. then afterwords, once they approve the visa, the embassy ships the passport with the visa to DHL. So she did have to pay a fee to get her date scheduled for sure at the embassy, through the main bank there, then she did have to go to DHL to pick up her passport with the visa.
