Anyone teach english online?

I have over the years heard of jobs that pay you to teach English online to overseas kids.

My Filipino wife is currently still overseas in Thailand, where she teaches English. I figure she would be great at teaching kids online, especially to the same country... once she gets here. I figure if she were to do that, it would net us some extra income from a job she can do from home. Anyone know anything more about this?

I don't know anything except that I've seen several people teach through VIPkid. I don't have experience with that company however.
