My coworker mom is undocumented immigrant in israel for 14 years now. He is a us citizen and wants to petition his mom. Is it something complicated that needs a lawyer and how ti declare it on her application

no but unless she is a legal immigrant in that country, she will have to have her interview in her country of origin

 

if she's not living there legally she will have to return to her country for the interview

Police Cert is likely to be the main issue she needs to investigate.

Agreed..police cert will be the biggest hurdle. US immigration won't hold the illegal presence in a foreign country against her, but the PCC is required anyway.

She needs to declare her residence there.

If she has no legal status there, she will need to interview somewhere she does have legal residence.

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received
