2nd NOA received today October 12th...now what

We got our 2nd approval notice today!!!  I think that the next step is it goes to the NVC and then to Montreal Embassy.  That process appears to take about a month?  In the meantime we get package 3 ready?  Are we able to track online as it goes to the NVC and then onto the Embassy?  Is there anything major we need to beware of now?  We are getting a tad excited!!

You should be able to track it yes. If you haven't already, you need to get your police reports (make sure you tell them its for immigration because there is a new one needed from the RCMP). Also gather your vaccination records and update those so you don't have to pay for it at the medical.

 

Your fiance should begin gathering their financial info for the I-134.

 

Write another intent to marry letter.

 

The guides have more details, but you're almost done :)

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

When you completed your I-134 did you complete it online or handwritten?  Does it matter?

doesnt matter as long as your handwriting is very neat and very legible
