I'm not in this situation, but I was thinking that I'm kinda VJ-addicted and would have a hard time giving it up even if my relationship didn't work out... I also noticed some members whose relationships have ended posting.

I'd stay just for you, Alex. :P

I'd say goodbye to the people I would want to say goodbye to, and then let VJ go.

I'd leave... the reminder would be too painful....

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Exactly. And how can one move on if you're always going to be talking about the process/pitfalls/answering questions about how you're doing/etc.

That's true. On the other hand the support you'd get here might be nice because you could get some of the horrible feelings out without spending too much time whining to your real-life friends and feeling like a burden to them... here if someone doesn't want to help you feel better they can just not open your thread.

 So true.

Also if you are anywhere in the process past the initial visa (married/already in the country) there is quite a lot of information you need when separating/divorcing.
