Aloha -

This is starting to get to me some. We got touched May 4th and since then nothing. I think before we got touched, I saw no hope and had a mental toughness to match. I was doing well. When we got touched, I felt the end was a few days away, and I let myself get soft. Now two weeks later nothing else has happened. I feel my patience with people and things are starting to slip away. My focus is shot. And to top it off, I was to go see Joan next Thursday (which would have triggered MAJOR attitude adjustment). I talked to her this weekend and she has chicken pox, so the trip got pushed back several weeks. I know the delay and her pox are both out of our control, but still it's getting to me.

Mahalo for listening,

Bill

I just read your post and wanted to say that people are listening and if anyone understands it is us here. I wish there were more I could offer you to help, but unfortunately all I can say is remain as patient as possible and know that soon you will either have your NOA2 or be with Joan. I just want to encourage you to hang in there and do what you need to remain sane and calm... do what you love to do best that relaxes you, besides be with your love. And soon enough time will pass. Best wishes in the waiting period... this too shall pass. Take care!!!

I'm SO sorry your trip had to get pushed back, that is major bummer! Regarding the touches, I am in the exact same boat. Touched 3rd and 4th and then nothing. There was another couple who had been touched 1st and 2nd, contacted their congressman and found out they had been approved back on the 2nd. I am going to try calling either USCIS regarding an "RFE" or call NVC today. If that doesnt work I'll try the congressman route as well. So hit up the phones and see what you can find out, maybe it will be some good news! You two sure deserve some! Good luck and hope our news is good!

Hang in there Bill. You havent gotten the approval yet but you also havent gotten a RFE yet either. You may be one of the cases where the uscis doesnt change for you but then you get the noa2 via snail mail. Good luck. Keep us posted.
