RFE Received - No case update

I had been reading these forums for some time and of course check both the old and new sights for case updates.  Of course there was no update so I was surprised when I received an RFE in the mail.  A stupid mistake where I forgot to check a box in the Criminal Record Section.  The sights still do not reflect having an RFE sent, so I'm guessing it won't show when they receive it back.  

 

Is it normal for them to not update for an RFE like this?  Just wondering what it means for the approval for our application and moving it to NVP.    Still kicking myself for it.

Site updates seem to be optional anymore. I called uscis yesterday to get some info and was told my rfe was received September 5th.. well I received a approval on September 26th and noa2 hardcopy on the 29th. 

New site still shows original received date of i129. Old site shows rfe received September 5th..

 

so no. Don't count on sites updating. And if u call and speak to tier 1 they will only tell u what last update in there system. U will need to speak with tier 2 to get any useful info.

Thanks, that's good to know....but uggggg.  Still frustrating.
