All went well!

Didn't really ask too may questions. Asked how we met, if we had any additional documents we would like added to our file. (We brought in our ultrasounds, because we are newly expecting).  So most of our questions/talk revolved around babies and tips for making a marriage work.

Nothing like I was expecting, but he did mention they have the authority to ask all sorts of questions such as who is 3rd in the line of succession for the presidency.  Sounds like they can dig very deep if they feel like it.

I wish you all the best!!  Our appointment was at 7:30, they wouldn't let our wave of interviews into the building until that exact time.  They took us back to the room around 8:20 and we were out the door by 9am. I'm thinking this all varies by location but wasn't too bad!

Glad all went well for you sir. Congrats on you both expecting!

Did they approve you on the spot or will they notify you later?

Yeah, depending on your location and the person doing the interview, the questions and the process could be very different.

I've been monitoring Dallas AOS filers and it look like it's about a year wait for our local office.

Thank you! We actually got the Green Card in the mail today! Tampa is pretty quick lol.  He did approve us on the spot but didn't give us a stamp in her passport (stamped the packet a whole lot), said if we didn't get anything in the mail in 20 days to come back and he would stamp it.

I hope Dallas is quicker for you than the estimates! I imagine that is a pretty busy field office though.

Yeah it's one of the busiest in the country. USCIS suppose to be implementing a new process for over crowded field offices. They plan to have some cases moved to other not so crowded field offices.

They can send ours to Tampa. We'll make the flight!

The NVC received our case on 6/21/19 and assigned a case number on 6/22/19.

We have completed the D-160, but have not paid the fee yet.

I anticipate that our file will be in the July 8th shipment, and until then, we will take a step back and make sure that we have all of our proof of relationship documents compiled.  It's amazing how quickly text messages, photos, screenshots, cards, and gifts can accumulate.

For Panama, it looks like anything that was assigned a case number after June 14th (Julian Date 665) didn't get shipped in this most recent shipment.

Hopefully our file will be in the July 8th shipment.

The plan is to pay the visa fee in advance, and have all of the P3 documents scanned and ready to email when we receive the P3 notification.  We want to be able to schedule the medical appointment as quickly as possible and push for an interview at the end of July.

Yes medical delayed us also. You should get it within a day or two of it changing to nonimmigrant on

Hello guys. I had my interview last wednesday, it was OK, but the medical of my daughter are not in the embassy yet. It is frustrating that the doctor only makes the shipments once a week. Also Monday is a holiday. Thank you for your help @Ninaav @SteVas

We paid the visa fee at Banco General today using the deposit slip at this site:

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/pa/PanamaDepositSlip2bg.html?fee=62&quantity=1

Our file is at the NVC and expected to ship next week (God willing).

When our file reaches the embassy, we will work on the singleness certificate and the Panama Police Certificate.

We already have the Venezuela police certificate, but we need to get it legalized at the embassy.

I am praying for medial appointment soon afterwards and an interview at the end of July.

WOW!  Things are moving fast.

Hey @dwilder and @Ninaav. Just wanted to let you know that our visa went issued on Thursday and we picked it up yesterday. We'll be flying out early Tuesday morning. Thank your both for all of the help you've provided during this journey! Now it's on to the next journey of AOS!

Hello @SteVas   If I understood correctly, the status of your visa was issued and the next day you picked it up? Or the status "issued" lasted several days?

Thanks

@Ninaav  I think I remember you saying that your husband was from Colombia.  Did he have to present a certificate of singleness for his interview?
