Any august 2017 filers still waiting for visa?

Augsust 2017 filer here, NOA2 feb this year, interview april 30 in Taiwan AIT , my fiancé is filipina that was living and working in Taiwan for  years, she is back in the Philippines because the work contract ended end of may which was 30 days after the interview, she received a 221g and the words hand written by the VO "no further information is needed at this time" and ceac site still shows the case as "ready" and has never displayed "administrative processing" yet according to their email and at the interview they told her its in administrative processing, ive emailed that embassy many times and each time they update the case on ceac, but all the updates posted is from them getting my emails. its now October 2018 and still in administrative processing, anyone else???

we were not told to submit any further documents, i called uscis an hour ago and a lady told me we were approved for the visa but waiting on a visa to become available....####### is that???? never heard of that and she still asked me to call nvc and i said do you see that we were approved for the visa she said yes then i said visa approved or petition approved she then said petition approved so clearly uscis is playing games and doesn't provide straight answers to specific questions, we are heartbroken to endure this ####### from my government! anyone else still waiting like me??????????

Well if she interviewed in Taiwan but is not there currently... do they have her passport or how is she traveling? To issue the visa they need the passport at the embassy.

 

Calling USCIS is like calling a lot of help lines, sometimes useful, other times not. Most the people you talk to don't have all the information or don't know some of the specific processes especially when it's at the embassy level it seems.

The USCIS help line is often referred to as the "misinformation" line.

 

You need to call back, be calm, demand a supervisor. They will have someone call you back. However, if you are in AP, there is nothing they can do for you.

she interviewed in Taiwan , didn't expect AP. they didn't keep her passport. we requested Manila to transfer the case there however AP needs to be completed by the consulate that started the AP and then once that is done the case will be transferred to manila. she is now in manila. we are thinking she should go back to Taiwan and work there again until the ap is done.

Nothing USCIS can do at this stage...they are only responsible for the petition. You need to deal with the embassy as they are the only ones who can actually know what's going on.
