Hello everyone,

Does anyone have experience on what checklists will NVC ask to upload online on CEAC? Our IR-5 case for my mom is still at NVC and they are still reviewing but haven't received their unique case number. In case, to get myself prepped with documents I need your opinions. Thank you so much in advance!

Hi, I just did mine a week ago... It is pretty easy... once they give you the invoice number you can logon and start the process... first you have to make the payment and wait 48 hours for the money to clear into their account. Then, they'll allow you to upload everything

Upload Original copy (in your language) and also the translated copy into English... Both together.

upload the affidavit and tax transcript.

then each line  will indicate you what document to upload for each person

birth certificate for both, applicant and petitioner

criminal record for the applicant

marriage certificate for both if applicable

divorce certificate for both if applicable

Passport bio page for both, applicant and petitioner

passport picture for both

you could also do the visa application and submit... you can do all this at the same timer...everything is self-explanatory and once everything is uploaded they'll review it and let you know what's missing or incomplete

I uploaded everything on September 28th and got my approval email today 10/09/18 that everything was accepted and just awaiting the visa interview appt.

Good luck

Yes, she has to request her criminal record... not yours. She also needs to submit her marriage certificate along with her husband's death certificate.

If she was married before (meaning twice), you must submit that marriage certificate along with the divorce certificate Too!

It's a lot of paperwork but you have to submit everything, otherwise they'll delayed or denied the process.

I hope this information helps you
