USC attending biometrics

Hi,

Does my wife, who is USC, need to attend my biometrics appointment at the local office with me (applicant, K1 now married to USC)?

Only the person adjusting status needs to attend Biometrics, they take your picture and finger prints is all.

I'm the USC and I'm going w/ my hubby - but I agree with Dan - it's not necessary.

(I went to his K1 interview as well).

The USC is not required or needed at all for the biometrics appointment. Unless of course they are driving you there.

Not necessarily. My USC husband went with me and he was told to sit & wait at the waiting area.

I went to my husbands biometrics appointment too, and had to sit in the waiting room separate from where he had his fingerprints and photo taken. At least I could watch him through the glass door, lot better than sitting at work hoping all is well

On my appt notice it states

Due to limited seating availability in our lobby area, only persons who are necessary to assist with transportation or completing the biometrics worksheet should accompany you.

So there you go... The USC doesn't have to be at the appt not here anyway.

No, and after my experience, when my husband has to get them done again in the future, he's going to have to drag me there. Heh!
