My fiancee got a letter from the Nigerian embassy in Lagos to make a payment for her K1 visa (she paid to Guaranty Trust Bank) and links to download and fill out form DS-160 which she did and submitted it. The next step was to schedule an appointment (http://www.ustraveldocs.com.) which is, Apply For A U.S. Visa in Nigeria. After registering on ustraveldocs, on the first page she registered there are two options non-immigrant and immigrant but she chose immigrant. My question is, after filling out the pages, she noticed the page where you book an appointment is missing. The first page indicates step 1 and the next is step 3 and wondering what happened to step 2 which I suspect is the page where you choose your appointment date.

The second to the last page which is Step 8 indicates Please enter your MRV receipt information below and she entered the number on the receipt she got from the bank. Is the receipt number from the bank an MRV number?

The last page is were got me confused. It did not say your application was accepted or submitted or any kind of acceptance to indicate that you have completed the process

"Schedule Consular Appointment"

Applicants for U.S. visas are required to appear in person for a visa

At this point we don't know what to do at this point.

Please any suggestion

Thanks

You should ask your fiancee to call the USA embassy in their country to find out about question 1. As I know, the last step will be for her to schedule the interview date. Not in between.

The bank receipt number will be the MRV number but not included the first 3 numbers (in my country ). As long as she follows the steps to build her informations (Name, birthday, passport number, email address, phone number,DS160 ID number, receipt number...)all the personal information will be shown.

If she has completed scheduling the interview, she'll get an appointment letter at the last step.

I will let her know. Thank you so much for the reply

You're welcome. She should try to  redo the option of clicking on "non-immigration" before she gets on the Ustraveldoc website
