I have used UPS and USPS, and my stuff were stolen so it will be wise to buy some kind of insurance if in case it doesnt arrive to its destination.

That's because the USPS hands it off to Philpost in Manila. Then it may or may not get there.

So i used UPS, same thing.

That's weird because usually if you use them then it's ok. I have used DHL and LBC Air many times with no issues.

To be honest, I know someone from the west coast and just ask them to have my stuff delivered. I might use DHL and LBC next time!

When I lived in Los Angeles we used LBC Air and loved it. It took 5 days to be delivered with nothing missing.

I sent a used Laptop over there a few years ago via Fed Ex.

Had to pay $300 US Dollars at customs in Philippines before they would release it to be sent on to reciever, Laptop wasn't barely worth that amount.

I hope they don't the same ####### with cell phones if using a common carrier.........

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

Isn't UPS tied to USPS?  They deliver for each other.  My guess is UPS hands off to Philpost too.  DHL or FedEx would be my choice.

UPS is tied to USPS, they do have a delivery agreement where UPS will drop stuff with USPS for delivery here in the states.

UPS does exist as a delivery company in the Philippines, I have seen their brown trucks.
