Please, in case you have been through the process, I'd want to know if U.S embassy in Nigeria issues Interview Appointment Letter for k1 visa?

 

Or can you schedule the interview on your own once you've got your case number from NVC and your case forwarded to the embassy?

Once you get your case number in Nigeria,  book your appointment.  They don't send letters for K1 in Nigeria

Wet signatures are no longer required for I-134 for your Nigeria interview. You are able to send in scanned documents. I signed, scanned and emailed mine to my fiancé to print and it was accepted.

 

Scheduling the interview can take 1 to 3 months. Once you pay the 95,400 naira ($265) visa fee in a GTB Bank, you can go online to schedule an appointment at www.ustraveldocs.com You can get the forms online at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visa_forms.html No need to go to the consulate to pick up forms. Download forms if unexpired or get current versions of same forms. Email LagosIV@state.gov for your interview date.
