@Paul & Mary: Do you have personal (or secondhand) experience with an I-130 interview. It isn't time for the AOS interview yet. Are there other threads about the I-130 interview here in VJ (because I couldn't find any)?

I will write up our experience this weekend when I get home to Mary.  Ours was not really too typical because there were a bunch of red flags or unique things.

Her interview about how we met, her past and our marriage was pretty straightforward. I "volunteer" for a non profit, get paid for consulting, travel a lot internationally and that was hard for her to explain.  Fortunately I was outside the consulate and got an interview too.

This tread is more like an AOS is that the beneficiary is already in the US and not returning to their home country for an interview.

I think this is more like our DCF I-130.  There are few DCFs and probably even less I-130s filed within the US. When I filed it in Juarez they reviewed our packet and ask a few questions.  When you do that they don't tell you anything other than they will notify you.  I though I failed!   It was approved the next business day.

This potentially is an apples to oranges comparisson. For I-130s filed in the US an interview is not common. Hope for OP's case that it's just a straightforward and simple interview.
