Hello and good evening.

My fiancé and I met online Nov 6th, 2017. Fell in love as us humans so often do. I went to meet him February 15th 2018. He proposed and I absolutely accepted. I filled out the petition late Feb and sent it (NOA1 March 6th, 2018 - four months after we began talking).

My visits haven been plenty:

* Feb 15th - 19th

* March 31st - April 8th - met his mother, grandmother and brother and 2 sisters, stayed at his mothers house for 2 nights

* June 26th - Aug 5th - (10 of those days we stayed at his mothers house With his mother and grandmother. Met another brother and more family.

* September 8th - 16th

* I leave again on Oct 25th - Nov 4th

So about 70 days together this year.

My thoughts tonight (as I get ready to schedule the interview) are these:

I have it stuck in my mind that we should do interview AFTER Nov 6th because we will have been knowing each other 1 year at that time. For some reason it just sounds better. However, I will be there late October early November and I could go with him to interview to show my love and support BUT Ankara does not allow petitioner inside  😕

 But I could still go and stand outside lol

Do you have any insight?

Which would be better if it even matters 😬

Thanks so much

It doesn’t matter how long you’ve known each other. What matter is have you met two years before applying (which you did). I see why you want to do it later but honestly it doesn’t matter to the officer. Do the interview earlier and get it over with. The sooner you do it, the better. Good luck to your fiancé 😊!

Yep the time you have been together doesn't matter at all. You need proof of a legit relationship and you have them I guess. Just schedule the interview. Just had mine for CR1 last Monday and it's really less difficult than people think. Of course it's stressful but since they approved all your docs already - just go on and schedule. Good luck

Two thoughts - do it as soon as you can.  But then if you can be there when the interview that is better.   We did a CR-1 and CO had questions during the interview and asked if I was there.   I was able to go in and clear up the issue.  We did get approved that day rather then having to upload documents and waiting for approval.

If it were me I would schedule while I was there.   He can take proof that you are there with him on that day.   It really doesn't matter much in the long run you have to do with what suits you best.
