We're in southern Indiana and I filled up yesterday with the cheap stuff at $3.14/gal but I saw today it was $3.29 GRRRRRRR

It's between $3.39 and $3.47 for the cheap grade here in southeast Wisconsin.

Around $3.37 in L.A. for 87 (if I get lucky).

I've seen 91 grade at $3.85 though!!!

What is amazing to me is how prices vary 20-30 cents per day. My dad managed a station in the late 70's and he said that people would come into the gas station to complain about a gas going from 51.7 cents a gallon to 51.9 cents.

It WAS $3.29 outside the city (Detroit), but that was earlier this morning.

Didn't 'move' in the classical sense. I'm doing some work for my company around Northern CA. I'm in a hotel, the wife is at a friends in Santa Cruz and I see her on weekends. Supposed to be for the rest of the summer at least. I spent 2 days on Vandenberg AFB last week but I am spending most of my time up north. Not sure if I'll keep this gig or move on to something else.

It's a 250cc and can easily cruise at 75mph. Top speed is around 85, but depends on how much you weigh. You could probably hit 90 if you're a lightweight.

FWIW, I rode it from Alaska to Mexico, Key West, Quebec, and back to Alaska, and I never felt like keeping up with traffic was a serious problem, even on congested interstates such as I5 through Seattle, L.A., etc.
