I looked on the app this morning, and it said that my fingerprint review has been completed today at the National Benefits Center. What's strange is that when I had my info pass appointment to get my I-551 stamp as well as when I had my n400 interview, they both said my I-751 petition had been sent to the LA office. Regardless, doesn't anyone have any idea how long after fingerprint review it takes to complete the case? Thanks.

I received a notification today that there had been some activity on my account.  I logged in to this news:

Oath Ceremony De-Scheduled.
Sent on July 25, 2019

The PDF that was uploaded says this:

This is to advise you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to cancel the previously scheduled Oath Ceremony on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 09:00am  for the above applicant.  We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

We will advise you of any further action taken on this case, including any rescheduled interview appointment information, under separate notice.

Oh no!

As I suspected, they uploaded a new letter with the Oath date of the 22nd instead of the 23rd, and I've since received this letter in the mail.  So nothing else to do now, just show up to the place and get sworn in.

Question: my spouse filed online while residing in Maryland.  I noticed that most Maryland flyers' interview place is Baltimore, MD, but my spouse's interview said it is Fairfax, VA.   Did they make a mistake?  no mistake?

No: USCIS is moving cases around to nearby offices with spare capacity to speed up processing. Several threads on this forum about this, like below:

Received my notice online that my interview has been scheduled but I never received the actual interview letter in the mail.

Is there a way to request that they mail out a second interview notice letter?

I saw online that it’s one of the things I need to bring to my interview.

Sincerely,

Jon & Jess

You can log in your USCIS account and print the letter. It's a pdf file.

I just checked my case on the case tracker app, and it says that my citizenship oath ceremony notice has been mailed, which is obviously terrific. The weird thing is that it doesn't say my I-751 has been approved. According to the app, my fingerprint review was completed two days ago, but that's the last update for the I-751. When I log into my account on the USCIS website, there's no record of the fingerprint review. In fact, it that says the last action taken on my I-751 was back in December when it transferred to Lee Summit. What is going on?!? I want to be happy that the oath ceremony has been scheduled, but I'm hesitant until I know all the ducks are lined up. Has anyone else had a similar situation?

Just checked the app again and under the I-751 application, it now says "New card is being produced". Thank God. Great news. I'm gonna have a drink... Thanks to everyone on here for all the advice and shared stories. Really made it all so much easier.

Here’s the latest from my wife’s saga. Just interviewed today. It didn’t sound too promising, so I created a separate thread about it here:

Approved. Oath scheduled for end of the month.

September 25th: I-130 Emergency petition filed at US Embassy in Lima.

October 3rd: I-130 Petition Approved.

October 10th: Consular Section sent checklist and notification scheduling my spouse's visa interview for November 13th.

Congrats too!!! I'm so tired if waiting. We want to travel out of state but I'm worrying that the oath will fall on my travel date. 😣

Hey Guys!

I just wanted to update you all on my case progress. I live in Queens, NY. I applied on the bases of being a resident for 5 years. I applied on Oct 29th 2018, my biometrics was scheduled on Nov 2nd 2018, I attended my biometrics appointment on Nov 20th 2018 and then there was a long wait. I kept receiving my bi weekly updates. My interview was scheduled on June 24th 2019 and I attended and passed my interview on Aug 1st 2019. I don’t remember the questions I was asked but it doesn’t really matter because no two people will be asked the same set of questions since the computer spits out the questions randomly. My interviewer wanted to start with going over the form first but I asked to be questioned first, so we did the reading, writing and then the civics test. Whilst going over the form he asked me a few biography questions and then yes/no questions. It was pretty straight forward. My mom and I follow the same time line however she got her oath letter the same day for Aug 28th 2019 while I was told I have to wait to get mine in the mail. The interviewer told me his supervisor has to look over my file and I should hear back within a week. We were interviewed at Federal Plaza on the 4th fl but in different offices. I applied for a name change as well.

How long did you guys have to wait for your oath letter? Passport? I wanna apply for my fiance after this.
