If you reschedule it, it can be a long time that you get an interview. They may not want to talk to your husband during the combo, however, it still looks good if he is there in the waiting area. It was clearly important to the officer that my husband came to support me even if he didn't care to talk to him, he did ask if he was there to support and noted who he was. If he is not there, they may have to schedule you a second interview for your I751, which can take a while. Personally, I would do everything to get out of his work trip....his job has to understand, this is kinda like a government duty to show up, it's not like he would be skipping this trip for a fun birthday party or to watch netflix.

Thanks, everyone, for the advice.  Looks like my husband has agreed to move his work meeting.  Makes life much easier.

Wise choice. Rescheduling would be disastrous potentially in waiting forever!

Ugh. Case completion extended by one month to Nov 2019.

Don't worry about it too much. Mine was constantly changing. Up until the interview it still said 11 more months left, but I just had my interview (passed) and just waiting for my oath. Based on what others are saying, these estimates are way off. Chances are you will get yours much sooner!

Everyone on the SF thread had been pretty much accurate at the original estimate of a year and now some are delayed further so sadly I think it is probably accurate for me...

Congrats!!! Did your status ever show as submitted for quality review?

yes i was under quality review since approval date until today. i don't think they change to say they have finished quality review, they just schedule oath when they are done. Its possible quality review ended weeks ago and they were just waiting for a slot to open for an oath ceremony date. Are you under quality review as well?

Yes my status changed from approved to under quality review since the day I interviewed. It’s been 3 weeks so I’m here trying to find the patience to wait.

Which site were you on 'under quality review'? On egov or dhs or both? And where did it say 'under quality review'? At the top or under your case history?

For me, on egov, it say "Oath will be scheduled" with big letters at the top, but under my case history (lower left) it says "we recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review". I assume that the 'quality review' was just a step before the 'oath will be scheduled' step, since there is no word about quality review at the top.

On the dhs site where we applied online there is no word on quality review and there has never been (not even under my case history). It just says "We approved you applitcation. You final step to becoming a citizen is to attend you naturalization ceremony. We will mail you a letter when we schedule your naturalization ceremony." It very clearly says I was approved, nothing about quality review, and even the how many days left tracker is gone...

My interview was on the 13th only though....

Only on egov/case tracker app. DHS showed oath ceremony to be scheduled. It was right at the top after about a week of in line for oath ceremony scheduling. All these notifications happened simultaneously so i wasn't sure which was the real status for a week before it changed to Quality review .Today it changed to oath ceremony scheduled.

Wow! What a chaos! I'm glad they finally scheduled it! What a relief.
