Well he had his biometrics in New Orleans so I’m assuming his interview will be in New Orleans as well. We live in Louisiana.

you can search visajourney for new orleans n-400 cases to try to guess averages. Though again, only a few people fill these out. https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/citlist.php?op6=All&op7=New+Orleans+LA&op1=4&op2=d&op4=1&op5=&cfl=0

I only know one person that applied for n-400 in new orleans with his wife. it took them over a year, but it was 2 years ago and they got their green card through work, so it wasn't an ROC/n-400 combined case. Those take longer in my state too. I think ROC/n-400s go quicker, because our ROC-s have been pending for so long.

I have the date of my citizenship interview, but my I-751 is still pending.  How you know for certain that it's a combo interview?

It's confusing to me as well. Back in early winter when they transferred my case to NBC, I didn't receive the letter. I sent a service request and they said they would send me a new one. Though I didn't say, they said that they have two cases, I-751 and N-400 on file, and they will be taken care of at the same time. So I kinda assumed a combi interview from that point on. I got my interview notice 3-4 weeks ago. I sent a message if it will be a combi or not, and though they responded to the message they totally did NOT respond to my question. They said my interview letter is among my documents( (I didn't ask that!) and nothing about whether it will be combi or not. Another girl from here just had her combi interview at the same center I'm going to and most people had combis, so I am simply assuming (and hoping) that it's the case :)

Thank you so much for the tip & sharing your experience. This is definitely my plan to remind the officer first thing to take care of the ROC.

If you have kids consider sending them to your combo interview. I had mine on Tuesday and the officer did not interview my wife because she saw our daughter and told me to follow her to interview me for my n400 and left my wife behind. Now waiting for oath ceremony. This has been so long and its almost over. All the best to everyone.

I've been waiting for over 2 months for my Oath Ceremony to be scheduled. Hopefully you wont have to wait this long :P good luck and congratulations! :D

Wow thats long!!! Which city/state did you file in?

I know right!? :D San Diego! All other San Diego filers got their Oaths in a reasonable time frame. I just think its a combination of bad luck and a bad N-400 interview\IO that interviewed us. I am 100% sure you wont have to wait this long.

You will probably get scheduled before me at this point. Its a little too soon for you to be on the May 22 Oath i think. You may get the June 19 one. Ill probably get the one in July when my residency status is expired.
