I don't have criminal cases . I do not have a single fine for the car. I get up at 7am and go to bed at 9pm . I love my wife and the United States of America . I answered all the questions correctly. but they said they'd talk to the supervisor. it's been 15 days, but there's no news about me . I made a meeting for Monday and I want to know something about myself and my case .

Hi Nikolas2017. I had to reply on this thread because I noticed you've been distressed abt what happened to you at the Tampa office. Funny thing is, I just interviewed for N-400 there on Monday 02/04 and my interviewer told me the same thing and gave me the same form - that says I passed the test but they can't approve my application at this time (the only difference is interviewer said they have a major problem with their system so they can't do approvals and will have applicants come back LATER to complete the approvals) So relax, you're not the only one in your boat.

Oh no way! I have my interview in just over a month! I hope their system gets fixed by then. Did he give you any indication as to when you will have to go back? That seems crazy.

Can you tell me more about your interview in Tampa though please? I would love to hear more details so I know what I'm headed into.

Thanks!

After 120 day if u dont recive the oath ceremony then yeah you have to do something.!  At leas that’s what they told me, she specifically told me that i was not going to get anything before march  but she handed me the the form n-652 wich stands for aprova section.l!

The interview itself was easy. Had to wait 2 hours after my scheduled time, to finally be called, so you might want to go WAY earlier than ur appointment time. Heard they don't bother if you're that early. Wish someone had told me before the day. The office was packed so I don't know if my 02/04 was like a mass interview day for applicants. Interviewer was nice and easy going. I think they put up a stern personality out in the lobby but when they take you into their office they're very friendly. Went with my wife, and they might need you to go with ur spouse for the I-751 part if yours is a combi interview. Civics questions were very easy. One war fought in the 1900s, How long do Representatives serve? What month we vote for Prez? What year was Dec of Indep signed?, Governor of your state now, etc. Once you get 6 questions right, then you've passed the civics part. She had me read a written sentence, and then had me write on a notepad while she read a sentence to me. Very elementary so it was awesome. And then she gave me the N-652 that I had passed but they couldnt approve because of a major system problem. So I'm hoping they can rectify it before the next oath ceremony on March 15th

I've decided to be patient and see where things go. You've scheduled an appointment so I think that's a good step. And I believe it's not a negative decision about our cases - they would have told us at the interview if it was a negative decision. So just hang in tight and we'll hope for the best.

Ps post an update from ur meeting tomorrow if you can!

I understand your frustration, but 2 weeks is nothing...seriously. People wait much much longer. You can torture yourself every minute, but that is not going to speed up the process.

My advice: get some Magnesium supplements and continue to enjoy life.

Again, two weeks is too early to do something. If, lets say, after 2-3 months there is no response from USCIS, make an Infopass appointment and ask whether your background check has been completed. It doesn't matter if you pay your taxes on time or have no prior criminal history.

I see both sides. I’d be worried too, but I understand it’s only been two weeks and these things can take time!
