My N400 interview date is set for Tuesday 12 March at 8:30am. I would've liked February, but I'm not complaining. :) I'm smiling because the interview is a year to the date of my infopass appointment where the IO told me the earliest I would get approved would be in a year's time! He may well be right.

So yes, my case got transferred to NBC, MO  and that's where my interview notice letter was sent from. There was no mention of my I-751, no mention of a combi interview, it was all about N400.  I'm not expecting to hear anything now on my GC. I think I'll have to go prepared for an I-751/N400 interview and test, so I'll take everything with me including my other half. LOL

I really hope I don't get stuck in limbo if they don't do a combi.

I will report back on my interview here and hopefully answer all of your questions. Saying that, @NeedMoreCoffee is a couple of weeks ahead of me, so I'm relying on them for a blow-by-blow account of what happens on the day, and how the I-751 is tackled. :)

@Greencardchicago - I nearly booked a trip home in February but I'm glad I didn't now. If I pass and my I-751 gets approved, I want to get the oath ceremony and my USA passport squared away, and do my first international flight without immigration worries.

Thanks for being excited, it can be a mixed bag when you're waiting on news too. I'm looking forward to your interview/i-751 updates, it's SO uplifting to finally get a date.

@NeedMoreCoffee and @GoodbyeGirl both your cases got transferred to NBC Missouri right? Will you please keep me updated when you do your interviews on whether they process your i751 too and/or if they have your file together with the N-400 one? Want to be prepared when i get to that stage too :). Am so excited for your ladies!

Thanks for the luck! I think i will need it based on how far behind i am with these 100 questions :D I know there may be some confusion lately with all the gender politics going on in the news lately but i'd just like to mention that I am 100% male :P

@GoodbyeGirl

Im pretty sure this will be a combi interview even tho my Interview notice looks identical to yours and it doesnt mention anything about the I-751. I will just treat it like one and keep you updated :D.

My plan for additional evidence will be to bring

1. everything they asked for

2. all new evidence that was attained after i filed for the N-400. (so last 3-4 months of bank statement, insurance, etc.etc.etc)

3. and all old passports immigration notices. (pretty much my entire immigration file) literally anything that i can think of that is directly related to n400 \ i751

i dont want to have them ask for something related to i751 or n400 and not have it on had. the last thing i want is a reschedule or RFE haha!

Thanks MR @NeedMoreCoffee :)

Good list, and one that I'll follow. I'll soon start gathering all the latest evidences and go dig out what I included in both my i-751 and N400 applications. I think I'll be taking a pile of papers almost as bulky as what I needed for my K1 Visa interview at the London embassy.

I found a schedule of naturalisation ceremonies for my state, Kansas. I wonder if other states publish them too? If this is the real deal, *I may get in on the April session. If not, it'll be a long wait till August.

http://ksd.uscourts.gov/index.php/upcoming-naturalization-schedule/

*Of course this is dependent on me actually passing the civics test, and getting my I-751 approved. 😏

Looks like the San Diego Democratic Party list the upcoming oath ceremonies to help with new citizen voter registration.

Seems to be held monthly around the 20th:

If all goes well, your official visa/green card/naturalisation could be formally done with on 20 March. :) :) :)

I'm going to test the water at my interview and see what the chances are of volunteering for an earlier ceremony. But, if my state schedule is correct, I don't think there is one. I've heard they'll make exceptions in special cases, like an imminent birth or military deployment. We are a military family but neither of those circumstances apply to us right now.

LOL! I don't think my kitchen is going to win decor awards anytime soon. Could 19 April be my immigration end date? I'll take it.

It was never my plan to apply for citizenship, but then again, I didn't expect the immigration journey to be such a big ball of stress. I also didn't know how much it would bother me, not being able to vote.

Roll on the interviews! I'm looking forward to hearing good news for our Oct-2017/18 filers.

Thanks! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't wishing for a February interview, but I'm grateful to have a set date in March. For me, a few week's notice would've worked well. I've put off a trip home while waiting, and want to get that booked asap.

It looks my local office have oath ceremonies just a few times a year, so I'm hoping they'll let me go to the next one after my interview, which is in April. Larger states tend to have ceremonies more frequently, so you may not have to wait long after you pass the civics test. Looking forward to hearing when that is!

I did my biometrics in November too. I hope we receive some sort of update soon.  I heard 4 months after you've completed your biometrics they send you the notification "we've set a date for your interview" but I don't know how accurate that information is since after all the time span for these cases are based on the complexity of the case.

It's been 60 days for me and they stopped sending bi-weekly updates since last month. My expected month of completion is August 2019 and I hope it won't increase.
