This might sound stupid, but is that because today is December 1st so it would mean a month less?

I think so. Just checked my case and my wait time has changed from 20 months to 19. So I think the change is because today is the 1st of the month. But you're still in a better position than me. See what happens on 1 Jan. 😋

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Current status: UK and USA citizen

12-Mar-19: I-751 (WAC18026) + N400 combi interview

Outcome

16 Mar-19: I-751 ~ Green Card in Hand (from submission to card delivery, 17 months)

19 Apr-19:  N400 ~ Naturalization Oath Ceremony, certificate in-hand! (from submission to oath, 6 months)

1 May 19: Voter registration card in-hand

3 May 19: USA passport in-hand

11 May 19: New SSN card in-hand

Did my biometrics in Buffalo on Friday, there was a sign on the door saying they are not taking walk-ins anymore.  Wait time changed from 12 months to 11 months.

Hi jeffreyd! I think we have similar timelines. Hoping for a reduced wait time!

I am hopeful.

i already did my biometrics on 10/29. my estimated wait time went from 20 months to 17 months but i am taking that with a grain of salt lol!

the guy who has the interview this week is a combo filer who filed in early May 2018 and he received his interview notice October 2018. His removal of conditions has been pending since August 2017

I am still hoping you are right..... :( I had my biometrics and when they handed me the study materials the lady told me that I will be waiting for at least a year, that at the MKE center pretty much everyone has been waiting for a year. This is the experience of anyone I know for the past several years too... I really hope that you don't simply know the few exceptions or we will somehow be exceptions too... This is so damn frustrating..

As i said previously we could both be right cos no one really knows! lol...when i went for bios the lady giving us materials kept telling everyone you will get a letter in 6 months lol!..they themselves are inconsistent thats why I am just gonna wait and not worry myself to death about it...

Your attitude is the right one. I am not worried. I am frustrated. I feel like I am living in a prison with this process. Freedom is my highest value and I hate that part of it is taken with damn restrictions...like I can't go off traveling for months at a time, and even moving from this state would slow the entire process. All the things I do for love...but heck, this (waiting & restriction) is my exact definition of a nightmare. I had no idea ROC would be such a long process (oh, because it used to be the quickest thing on earth!)... I wish I could be so easy-going about this, but at least I want a 10-yr green card in my hand... It is absolutely ridiculous how slow they are going...for all the money we pay, they could really hire more people and work more efficiently...

I understand your frustration! i have been stuck here not able to visit my family because of this, because i figured the idea of trying to deal with immigration in South Africa with an expired green card was just too much stress to live with. I am just glad @work they havent given me any problems throughout this never ending process. Am sure a few of my colleagues have heard my screaming matches over the past year with Tire 1 agents on the phone lol! i mean i screamed myself hoarse trying to get a biometric appointment for removal of conditions and i never won that battle...USCIS has managed something my mother said i was incapable of (shutting up and accepting the inevitable without nearly killing myself with frustration )
