Out of curiosity, did you get an RFE? I'm trying to figure out if an interview is more likely after a round of RFE.

I think that's standard after they capture the bioemtrics, mine had changed to that before i even got home from the bio appointment.

Got this email today, 2 weeks after an identical one. 22 October is when I did biometrics,

i’m guessing I’ll continue to get them every 2 weeks for the next 9 months or so....!!

We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time

We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on October 22, 2018

I got the same email. People say these emails are useless. I beg to differ. I did my biometrics on October 30 (early walk in).

I then got the email:

We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time

We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on October 30, 2018

But today i got an email:

We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time

We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on November 6, 2018

Only thing that kind of makes sense here for me is that November 6 was my Original Biometrics date.

I also have the question though. How do we know if this is for my N-400 or my I-751?

Any help would be great!

Thanks,

My last action date was always the same, so far, but I’m not dual filing like you. I only have an n400 in the works. If you log into your account or. Check uscis case status, you should be able to see what the actual last action was, I think.

i think the primary purpose of these emails is “we haven’t fogortten about you so please don’t clog our lines with enquiries about your case”

Just finished my biometrics this afternoon as per my appointment schedule at the Portland Oregon field office. Immediately after I got a text notification that my case has been updated. Estimated completion time has been updated to 10 months (September 2019). Hopefully this statement runs true.

Now the waiting game begins

The statuses of my cases are

N-400

Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS
As of October 30, 2018, we are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization

I-751
Case Was Received At My Local Office
On March 5, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence

CRI-89

Case Was Received
On October 16, 2017, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received

So just confusing as to why I got

We last took action on your case on November 6, 2018

My honest guess is that this is the date of my Original N-400 Biometrics appoitnment OR they actually picked up my I-751, wiped the mountains of dust off of it and are now beginning to look at it.

Did my biometrics in Buffalo on Friday, there was a sign on the door saying they are not taking walk-ins anymore.  Wait time changed from 12 months to 11 months.
