Yay! Congratulations! And thanks for the digital signature info, good to know what to expect.

I'll be parting with my $725 on 24 Oct, about a week to go. :)

Congrats to everyone who has filed their N400 in October so far. Heartening to see some traction and excitement, especially for those still waiting on their 10 year green cards.

Onward and upwards (and probably a lot further to go)!

8 More Days! :D Sadly we couldn't see any movement with the I-751 cases (as anticipated) but I do feel a lot better after submitting this N-400 knowing that they need to pick up my I-751 now. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

I'm glad the light hasn't been switched off. 🤣

With this entire process, I'm finding my views can do a 180. I thought the AOS biometrics was a breeze, getting the appointment within 3-weeks of applying. No big deal. Set my expectations. But for the I751, not getting the biotmetrics turned into a stress filled waiting period, which eventually resulted in me formally not needing it done. So now, I really want the biometrics for the N400 - I just want something official to happen so I can feel like my case is moving.

Hi all,

I will be applying for my N-400 on 10/20/2018. I have a question though. I’m applying based on 3 years marriage, I read somewhere that you can apply online only if you are applying after the 5 years mark. Is that true?

Hey! No that’s not true.. I applied this October for N 400 based on 3 years marriage.. I will be having my biometrics done by the end of October.. go ahead and apply my friend

Hopefully they just pick it up at CSC and just process it like they intended from the very beginning :P But yea that sounds about right. Local Office or NBC. My local office is San Diego and they are at 12 months processing time. I saw a N-400 April 2018 San Diego filer get their case done in 5 months. So i am looking around the same time frame.

today I went and gave fingerprints . my invitation letter never came to my personal account . but I went and got accepted without a letter and everything went well. after lunch, I saw that the status of my case changed and were actively reviewed . I don't know what that means . who knows when the next step will be ? or just the office will be to pull the time?

That's cool!

I printed my appointment letter then went early, and I got accepted too.

I guess it's waiting time now, you can check the Processing Time in your field office.

I know the anticipation is nerve wracking.... but it is what it is right now..... the never ending waiting :)

Hi there!

Happy to hear that you already submitted your application.  Just give you a heads up regarding my experience.

Below is my timeline as of today Oct 14.  What I notice that when they mentioned that my Biometrics Appointment Letter was sent, I'm glad I didn't wait for it by mail.  I religiously checking the notice online.  Online says the notice was sent last Oct. 6 but i checked the stamp at the mail envelope, they only sent it last Oct. 10 and received it yesterday (Oct 13),  I'm just glad we can access the attached notices or documents online, having that said I printed my Biometrics Appointment letter and did an early walk-in (it was a success).

Keep us posted!

Cheers,

Thank you for letting me know! I will keep checking it - right now it just says it's been received.

I also signed up for text message notifications - do you think that will help?

Glad to hear everything was smooth for your biometrics!

Sincerely,

Jon & Jess

Hi to all!

I've been checking other N-400 filer and I saw this spreadsheet that everyone put their "Timeline" informations, and everyone keep theirs updated every time there's progress.

Kindly click the link and update yours and then highlight the link again "Copy & Paste' it back here so every one is updated too.

Conqueror, everyone: Looks like someone deleted all existing May 2018 filers data from that spreadsheet. Please do NOT delete existing data.

I just reverted that to restore original data.

I also created a new tab - "Oct 2018 Filers" for everyone on this thread. Direct link here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CRXPJXGNip4bFIDoUE3PyCtguHqwmN_ExuJhSmXoves/edit#gid=108064287

Thanks!
