I should have been happy

I got touched yesterday first time since 4/2. I should be doing wheels right now, but I'm not certain about my fiance anymore. She lied to me about something critical a few weeks ago and even though she has admitted it and apologize, I'm not sure I want to continue the relationship anymore.

I will decide in a few days whether or not I should go through with this.

You should make your decision after carefully considering all the details, with your heart and your head.

Hope you can either work things out between you or, if not, move on with peace.

Best wishes.

I am not sure what "critical" means...but since you put it out there, I would want to advise you not to rush into anything. Taking a few days (or weeks) to be sure about something as serious as a lifetime commitment is very valid.

07/10/07 NVC assigned case #.

10/25/07 NVC Case Complete!!!!

06/24/08 Crossed border

07/26/08 Received conditional greencard

07/28/08 Received SSN in mail (went down and applied in person 07/14/08)

08/11/08 Infopass appointment to request 10yr greencard instead of conditional. Mailed out 1-90 with support.

09/25/08 Received case # for I-90

02/17/09 Received 10yr greencard!!! WOOHOO

If you're having serious doubts about moving forward with the K-1 petition at this point, give yourself time to think the matter through. Talk to people about what's going on. Repeat the story, tell others what happened, what you're thinking, the doubts that have been raised, the reasons to stay, the reasons to go. If you talk about it (out loud, rather than think about it in silence), it will help you get clear about what to do. Hear what others have to say; it adds needed perspective.

And you've got time to make a decision. The NOA2 will arrive eventually, but this is big if it's stopping you in your tracks. Take the time you need to sort this out. Find people to talk to. The decision will be clear soon enough. Good luck!
