Is everybody writing cover letters like this? I am already compiling a list of evidence with everything I can think of. I can come up with around 20 documents to send so far... is everybody sending affidavits too? Thanks! The anxiety is killing me a little bit.

Hello everyone, I am October filer with SRC receipt number. I received a letter in May stating that they will reuse my fingerprint. Since then, I have not received any update from USCIS or receive any notice to set up an appointment to retake fingerprint as most of people here. Is this normal? Is anyone in the same situation like me? Thanks for your help!

I am in the same boat. I filed at the end of October and also received a letter about biometrics being reused, nothing after that....

That's our scenario. I'm 25 and have just been working my first "real" job out of college for about a year and a half. He is 22 and still finishing his undergrad schooling and works part time at a grocery store. We are definitely not in a place where having kids or owning a house is realistic. If we do get an RFE I can probably send in a screenshot of him adding me to his Whole Foods worker discount program as his wife, ha. A few more pictures and maybe just a letter explaining why we cant really provide much more? Worse case maybe they will call us for an interview, which I'm confident we would do fine in. Just would be a hassle.

We didn't get any RFE's at any point in the process yet. I'm not sure if that will help or will just upset karma and lead to one 😛

No approval yet here, no news since they sent me a notice saying my biometrics would be used again.

I actually sent my application to the wrong center, California forwarded it to Texas. I’m an SRC filer.

And I will let this forum know if and when I will be approved. Hopefully soon and hopefully soon for all of us that are still waiting.

no approval yet and status online is still fingerprints fee received, even if I had biometrics done in July.

I think small things like your Whole Foods discount program helps your case. But make it as official as possible, like if they can provide you a letter stating it, mailed or with letterhead, instead of the computer screen shot. It is the same information but presented neatly.

I also sent copies of our Costco membership and gym membership as evidence. Also letters from my parents saying about my husbands character and stating all places and circumstances they were together. And a letter from his parents about me. Letters from reputable friends that know us as a couple and spend time with us. Tickets and photos of a concert we attended together.

Try to be creative and look for things that you do have instead of focusing on the ones you do not.

Hopefully will get the long awaited approvals very soon.

I looked over in the Case Tracker and they approved one just 5 cases after mine and then another one 17 cases after mine.

Looks like it's pretty random.

My guess is all the October 2018 applications are with IO but some IO are fast some are slow. I can imagine the piles of papers on their cubicles.

Yesterday I received a letter stating my approval, and it also says to not leave the country until having the new card in hands. The letter states that if I do need to leave the country, I should call them and schedule to go get a passport stamp, but the stamp needs to be approved on a case basis. I’ll share the letter here when I get back home tonight as it might be helpful to know upfront - in case someone has a trip planned and it happens to fall between case approval and receiving new card.

I never received any emails or text updates. I have to proactively login the app. But all in all, I’ll say I am a bit surprised with the updates and amount of information available to me this time around, compared to the AOS. The visa tracker app has been updated to “Card was picked up by the USPS” and they also provide the USPS tracking number so I can stalk where the card is. It appears USCIS is adjusting to the 21st century.

Congratulations to everybody receiving their cards!

As per the RFE, I received a very similar letter to @shorouq123, if not the same one. They listed the documents we sent last time but only included around 5 in their list, while we actually sent over 60 pages of documents and many more than the ones they mention... Anyway, we don't have kids or a mortgage or lease, so I guess we fit the cases where RFE are being issued.

This makes me even more nervous. There is literally nothing new from the list that we could send in.

The N/A by the utilities is in reference to the fact that I called our utility provider and they said only one person’s name can be on the bill. So. Boo.

Trying to be positive, we did send some things from each section of the list, other than children of course. So maybe we will get by without and RFE?

*Edit* I guess I missed the section about wills and stuff. That’s something we could add I guess.
