SRC here, 255 days since they received the package, 255 days since the status has been "stuck" in Fingerprint Fee Was Received.

 

Last email received from USCIS says: "We last took action on your case on February 8, 2019". I did receive a letter at some point earlier this year (maybe Feb?) that said that my biometrics were going to be reused, but nothing has been reflected on the website...

Looks like there's been some movement on my case last week. Got this notification online followed by a mail notice stating that my case has been transferred to Potomac Service Center on June 11th. CSC filer here so not sure what it means for us. Is anyone else here in a similar situation

The Global Entry machine read my GC but didn't print the receipt. Instead, a message appeared in the screen telling me to see an officer. I waited in the line and when the officer called me I said right away that I didn't have a receipt because my GC was expired and that I had an extension letter. He checked all my documents and stamped my passport with the "admitted" stamp and wrote "LPR" and my A number on the stamp and that was it. No second screening, thankfully. That was entering Guam, which is a US territory. Let's see how it will be going back to the continental US.

On a side note, I was surprised to see CBP officers questioning people during the boarding of an international flight leaving the US. I guess they are looking everywhere now.

Like I mentioned above. It's not a big deal coming in with expired GC. As long as you have the extension.

 

As for CBP questioning people leaving, they sometimes do random checks for people leaving to make sure no one overstayed their Visa and also to make sure no one is carrying more than 10k cash or anything else illicit. These checks are usually done right before you board the plane. There's a show on Netflix called bored patrol or security (US version) that takes you though a day in the life of a customs and border officer.

Informed delivery shows I have got mail coming from Nebraska Service Center. I am dying to know what it is. 

 

No online updates, whatsoever. 

One interesting thing, if you look on the bottom right side you can see the zip code where the mail is shipped from and the zip is 40701, which is Corbin, KY.

 

That's weird.

Knowing that we have similar timelines, I checked my informed delivery and saw the same thing!! So excited to know what it is! No matter what, at least this is something!! We haven't been forgotten..

I believe it's either biometrics appointment or the inform me they will use the old biometrics.

 

Why wouldn't they update the online status?  :)

Yes! I was thinking the same thing, probably the bio letter. I'm still so excited though that I want to run home during lunch break to find out...

No, it's still "Fingerprint Fee Was Received". Has yours? I could be wrong, but I don't think they update the status if they send out a biometrics appointment. The status only changes after they do the biometrics. I'm not sure how it works if they reuse old biometrics.
